From Athens:
Take the 10-loop to Hwy 29 North. After passing Athens Technical College, take a right on Hwy 72. Take 72 through Hull into Colbert. There is one traffic light in Colbert at 4th St. Turn left at the light and go 4.5 miles. The Shelter is on the left just past the Madison County Solid Waste Transfer Station.

From Lexington:
Take Hwy 22 to Comer. Turn Left on Hwy 72 and go to the traffic light in Colbert (4th Street). Turn right at the light and go 4.5 miles. The Shelter is on the left just past the Madison County Solid Waste Transfer Station. |
From Atlanta:
Take 85 North to the Commerce/441 exit (where the Tanger Outlet Mall is located). Go south on 441 towards Athens. Take a left on Hwy 98 and go approximately 13 miles to Danielsville. At the light in Danielsville, turn right onto Hwy 29 South. Go to the center of town and follow the traffic circle 3/4 of the way around the courthouse and go right on Madison St. After crossing the second speed bump, turn right onto Colbert-Danielsville Rd. The Shelter is 1.5 miles on the right. |
