A Farewell to a Special person

It is with regret that the Madison Oglethorpe Animal Shelter announces the resignation of our Shelter Director, Cat Lindsey. Cat has been a dedicated caring director who has given her heart and soul to making the shelter the best possible home for lost or abandoned animals. As she moves on in her life, all of us at MOAS join in wishing her the very best in her life, both personal and professional. Thank you Cat for your many years of devoted service!

Spiff up your Pet! (and help homeless pets too!)

Local groomer Stacy Booth has graciously started a grooming service at the MOAS shelter. She will be there the last Saturday of EVERY month, to clip and groom your pets. Not only that but Stacy is donating 100% of her proceeds from her grooming to the shelter! So call the shelter at (706) 795-2868 to make an appointment to have your pets groomed AND to help save an animals life! All dogs MUST be current on their rabies vaccinations to be groomed --- please call for appointments and pricing. Thanks!

Adoption Day Special Event!!!

In association with Pawtropolis and Helping Paws Rescue, the Madison Oglethorpe Animal Shelter will be taking part in an Adoption Day for needy cats and dogs! On Saturday, May 17th, from 10 AM to 4 PM, MOAS, Pawtropolis and others will bring together an assortment of wonderful animals looking for their new homes.
