Sponsor A Pet

Check out this amazing group of 4-H youth giving back to their community every week. That's right every week this amazing group of young adults make their way over to The Madison Oglethorpe Animal Shelter and volunteer their time to work with homeless animals. They are providing basic obedience training through the guidance of Fran Klimek of Pawsitive K9 Training in an effort to not only help them find a loving home but ultimately to be a better companion animal for their new family. All of these hard at work K9's are available for adoption at the Madison Oglethorpe Animal shelter. If you are interesting in adopting one of the k9's currently in this program please submit an adoption application.

If you are interested in helping this pawsome group of volunteers continue to provide these services to our harder to adopt shelter K9's, please consider, making a donation of $35. Each K9 that is chosen for this program must be spayed or neutered and rabies vaccinated prior to starting in the program.

For a $35 donation we are able to schedule a newly selected k9 for their snip which them allows them to start their basic obedience training and join us at offsite adoption events.
