If you’re not able to adopt a pet but would like to help out and care for some of the animals, fostering an animal is an option.
Many of the animals in the shelter cannot show you how loving and affectionate they can be because being housed in a shelter can be a stressful and terrifying experience for them.
When you foster, you can provide a temporary loving home until they find their forever home. Fostering also helps the shelter keep extra space open for any animals that are surrendered or brought into the shelter.
Food and supplies for the animal are provided to the foster parent at no charge. All medical care is provided by our shelter vets and the animals all have age appropriate vaccinations prior to going to your home.
MOAS will continue to keep the animal listed on all our regular adoption avenues even while you are fostering.
If you are interested in fostering for MOAS, please complete the Volunteer application from the Volunteer tab and the Foster application below and we will contact you with more details about the application process.
