Volunteer Application

Are you an animal lover and looking for a way to help out the shelter animals? Volunteering at MOAS is the way to go.

Volunteering is very fun and rewarding. Giving your time, energy, and care to the animals at MOAS can be very fulfilling.

Volunteers are always needed to help at the shelter or at off-site events like adoption days, fairs, festivals and fundraisers. Off-site volunteers must be at least 18 and shelter volunteers must be 16 to volunteer without an adult.

We need volunteers in many areas of shelter operations which include bathing and grooming animals, help cleaning kennels, socializing with the animals and walking the dogs, laundry duties, flower garden maintenance, etc.

Some areas will require a time commitment of 10 or more hours per month or 2-3 hours per week. There are other areas which are more flexible. Please choose an area that will fit your availability.
