Off Site Adoption Days:
Every
second and fourth Saturday some of our hopeful residents visit Pet
Supplies Plus (191 Alps Rd, Suite 15. 706-353-0650). We
always need volunteers
to help at off-site adoptions. This is a great opportunity to
interact with the pets and meet people in the community!

|
MOAS Wish List:
Please
help make the animals' stay at our shelter more comfortable. We
can always use:
- Blankets
- Towels
- Cat Litter
- Bleach
- Paper towels
- Laundry
detergent
- Volunteers
- Donations
- We need a volunteer to bush
hog our field and scrape our driveway!

Foster a shelter pet:
Do you have what
it takes to welcome a shelter pet into your home? Fostered pets
are often more adoptable because they learn some basic manners and are
more likely to be well socialized. Please consider fostering!
Contact us
for more information.
Please note this is
not a
guarantee of approval.
All foster homes must be approved by MOAS on an individual basis.

SponsorSnip:
For just $35.00
you can sponsor the spay or neuter of
a shelter animal. Animals that are already spayed or neutered can
attend our off-site adoption days. They can also leave the
shelter without a waiting period when they are adopted. These
animals have a better chance of being adopted quickly. Sponsoring a
snip can save an animals life!

Angel Fund:
Sometimes animals come to the shelter
with special needs. They may require heartworm treatment or
orthopedic surgery.
We want to help these animals but the shelter cannot
afford the cost of complex medical or surgical care. By
contributing to the Angel Fund you can help these special
animals. The angel fund also helps subsidize spay/neuter for low
income families in Madison and Oglethorpe counties.

Photography:
Volunteers are
needed to photograph shelter animals for the website. We have a digital
camera you can use. One person can photograph smaller animals but
it is best to bring a friend for the larger animals.
